About

Andrea Bardin is a PhD student at the University of Padua, funded by PNRR’s Spoke10 project. His PhD project is about superconducting and atomic Josephson junctions by means of quantum field theory techniques. Specifically, he analyzes corrections to mean-field theory through two approaches: one-loop and two-loop corrections via functional integration at finite temperature, and Parisi-Wu stochastic quantization. Additionally, Andrea investigates finite range effects in particle interactions and the presence of synthetic gauges in fermionic quantum gases across the BCS-BEC crossover.
