On Wednesday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m., the Italian General Assembly on Quantum Technologies took place, an important opportunity to exchange views and reflect together on the future of these technologies in Italy. The event was held at Corsie Sistine, Borgo Santo Spirito 1, Rome, and can be watched at the following YouTube link .

A three-day meeting convening members of the QCSC consortium to exchange ideas, share recent advances, and explore opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of quantum computing and simulation. Congratulations to former group member Phila Rembold for being named Physikerin der Woche 2025 by the German Physical Society (DPG)!  

This event aims to connect the newly established Alleanza Quantistica Italiana (AQI) with the Boston academic ecosystem.Organized as a closing event of the International Year of Quantum and the official kickoff of the Italian Quantum Alliance, the workshop seeks to create a lasting bridge between these two scientific communities. By bringing together leading experts from Boston, Italy, and Europe, the workshop will identify common research themes and open challenges that can guide the development of scalable quantum technologies and accelerate their transition to real-world applications. The program will be structured around the four core pillars of Quantum Technologies: Quantum Computing, Quantum Simulation, Quantum Communication and Quantum Sensing and Metrology.   Registration and further information are available at this link.
